Thank you

Thank you to all who have contributed to the provision of household good for refugee families. The gift of pans, or appliances or bedding or furniture makes such a difference to those who have very little, and the recipients are very grateful.

If you do have kitchen-ware, kitchen utensils, or household goods that you think others might need, we can find a new and good home for them. Please let Peter know – 07935395040.

A particular request; There is a family with three secondary school-age children. Do you have an x-box or Play Station you no longer use in your family? It would bring such joy to these children.

Thank you too to all who continue to contribute to Urban Outreach and to all who are filling their boxes and candles for the Children’s Society. We may not always realise what a difference our gifts make.

Church Opening during the current restrictions

St Anne’s will be open on Sunday mornings and Wednesday mornings between 10.00 am and 11.00 am for private prayer. If you would like to come and sit, pray, be silent, please do come at this time. Please bring a Bible and/or Prayer Book if you would like to.

Christmas

We hope to celebrate Christingle on Dec 6th at 4.30 pm at St James Church. Please let Barbara Kenny know if you will be coming, first so we know numbers, and second, so she can get you a “kit” to make your own Christingle.

We would like to suggest that all households, whatever the age of people in the house, make some sort of Advent Wreath – many of us will have something to hand – to make an outer circle with four candles – and a fifth candle to go in the middle.
